Unexpected opportunities

This week at our writers meeting we were informed that we will be hosting Maggie Bonham, Publisher at Sky Warrior Books, this coming Thursday. Wow. Yeah, panic time. Words like pitch, Bio's, synopses, and platform are suddenly very big words to us. With one novel back from its first true critique and not fully revised, and the other only 67k words and not finished, I find myself the proverbial dear in the headlights. What to do? Confidence is on my side, but having unfinished work is not. Being prepared for whatever comes my way at any time is something I must master. Wish me luck in this crunch time.
